- eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) offers maximum protection against dust, debris and liquids for optimal performance in extreme conditions
- Quick adjust blade guard lever allows operator to retract guard when making mitre or bevel cuts
- Electric brake stops blade 3-5 seconds after trigger is released for increased operator safety
- Constant speed control maintains consistent speed under heavy load
- Anti-restart features prevents accidental startup of tool during battery changing when switch is locked in the on position
- Soft start feature gradually increases speed to eliminate start up shock
