TREMPRO® 830+ Elastomeric Sealant

Product Overview: TREMPRO® 830+ is a high-performance exterior elastomeric sealant designed to adhere to various substrates commonly found in professional siding and window installations and manufacturing. It offers superior adhesion, vibration resistance, movement flexibility, shear strength, and weatherability. This sealant provides a long-lasting elastomeric seal that prevents water and air intrusion, can be applied to wet/damp surfaces, and withstands extreme weather conditions. It is crackproof, waterproof, weatherproof, self-tooling, paintable, and compliant with VOC regulations and ASTM C920.

Usage Limitations:

• Application temperature range: 20°F (-7°C) to 120°F (37.8°C)
• Not suitable for butt joints less than ¼” wide or joints exceeding ½” wide x ½” deep
• Use foam backer rod if joint depth exceeds ½”
• Recommended bead size: 1/4” to 3/8”
• Avoid gaps in sealant bead; fill joint and avoid tooling
• Natural shrinkage during cure will leave a flat or concave bead
• Not recommended for continuous underwater use, below-grade applications, or surface defects
• Store below 80°F in a dry place for optimal shelf life

Substrate Preparation: Ensure the surface is sound, clean, and dry. Remove loose dirt, dust, oils, and other contaminants. TREMPRO 830+ can be applied at temperatures down to 20°F (-7°C). Applicable Standards:

• ASTM C920 Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use T1, NT, A

Application: TREMPRO® 830+ is easy to apply with conventional caulking equipment. Avoid gaps in the sealant bead, fill the joint, and avoid tooling. At 75°F (23.9°C) and 50% RH, skin will form within 5 minutes. For complete application instructions, visit tremcosealants.com.
