Key Features :

• Safety and Security: The adapter features a single locking mechanism : The top latch ensures proper interlock between the adapter and the vehicle's charge port. The top locking mechanism (CCS1 latch) controls through a set of springs the NACS side locking pin. If the adapter is locked by the charge port's locking mechanism, the NACS connector can't be removed from the adapter.
• Protection : IP54 (mating) & IP67 (enclosing).
• No restrictions : NACS DC chargers in North America.

For added safety, the A2Z Typhoon Pro adapter incorporates two temperature sensor switches. The first sensor derates the charging process upon reaching a certain temperature, while the second sensor halts charging, the temperature are strategically placed within the adapter. Charging can resume once the temperature normalizes and the adapter is reconnected. It's worth noting that during real-life testing, thermal shutdown was never reached.
