Description: SilGlaze II SCS2800 sealant is designed for easy application and fast curing, offering exceptional elasticity and weatherability. Ideal for projects requiring immediate handling, such as door and window installations, field glazing, and general-purpose sealing. It is highly resistant to UV radiation and extreme weather, ensuring long-lasting flexibility.

Features:

• One-part, neutral cure medium modulus sealant
• Fast cure rate: Achieves green strength of 10-15 psi in five hours and up to 30-40 psi after 24 hours
• ±50% movement capacity: Excellent extension and compression cycling recovery
• Durability: Proven resistance to extreme temperatures, UV radiation, rain, and snow
• Temperature range: Remains elastic from -55°F to 300°F (-48°C to 149°C)
• Easy application: Low-pumping viscosity for reduced strain on equipment and thorough joint filling
• Work life: Approximately 6-12 minutes

Adhesion:

• Bonds securely without a primer to various substrates, including glass, polycarbonate, vinyl, numerous plastics, treated and untreated wood, fluoropolymer and powder-coated paints, coated aluminum, ceramic, and porcelain materials. Some finishes or substrates may require a primer.
