- Brushless DC motor with high power to weight and size ratio
- Brushless DC motor generates less heat buildup and is ideal for prolonged use in manufacturing / production applications
- Variable 2-speed push-button control with variable speed trigger enables operator to adjust speed based on different attachments or applications
- Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) automatically shuts down the tool if there is a sudden drop in rotation speed (e.g. kick-back)
- Soft start feature gradually increases speed to eliminate start up shock
- Constant speed control maintains constant speed under heavy load
- Electric brake stops blade 3-5 seconds after trigger is released for increased operator safety
- Lever shaft locking system allows operator to quickly and easily switch and secure attachments for minimal downtime
- eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) offers maximum protection against dust, debris and liquids for optimal performance in extreme conditions
- Includes EM409MP 13" Line Trimmer Attachment
